ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Operate tractor-trailer combination
2. Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
3. Hook/unhook trailers to a tractor
4. Verify and complete required documentation and reports
5. Maintain accurate daily logs
6. Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required
7. Demonstrate internal and external customer service
8. May be required to perform job duties of a city driver or a dock employee where operationally necessary
9. Load and unload freight as required
10. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
11. Perform other duties as required

•Must have 3 months of over the road driving experience
•Must be at least 21 years old and pass a DMV/ D.O.T. (Dept of Transportation) physical and a pre-employment drug screen.
•You must have a good driving record and have been licensed in the United States for a minimum of 2 years out of the last 3 YEARS.
•No DUI, DWI, or open container violations in the last 5 years. No more than 1 DUI in the last 15 years and no more than 2 DUI's in your lifetime.
•Non-Violent felony convictions (including drug/alcohol convictions) 18 months disqualification from completion date of all court assigned obligations. Can not be on probation, parole or supervision.
•Violent felony convictions "May" be considered 3 years after conclusion of all court assigned obligations. Must NOT be on any probation, parole or supervision. Convictions involving death or sexual misconduct will not be qualified.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather
• Exposure to noise and vibration
• Exposure to dust and diesel fumes
• Hours may vary due to operational need
•No touch freight is available
•Sign on bonus is available for an already established team
•Minimum pay is $1,300 per week, per driver
•80% of weeks, pay will average $1,600+
